Q: WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
A: The earlier, the better. Availability is secured for your day and placed in our production schedule as soon as you place the order. The booking is confirmed once a 50% non-refundable deposit is sent. The remainder of the payment is due during pickup. For all custom cakes, we require a minimum 2-3 week notice. For wedding orders, it is recommended to book 3+ months in advance.
Q: DO I HAVE TO DECIDE ON THE FINAL DETAILS RIGHT NOW?
A: For wedding cakes, not at all! During your initial consultation, we discuss all the little details regarding your event. If you are unsure of your theme at this time, we can always schedule a second consultation to discuss your ideas.
Q: WHAT IF I HAD A PARTICULAR DESIGN IN MIND, CAN I BRING IN A PHOTO?
A: Definitely! We encourage our couples to bring in inspiration pictures and do some research prior to booking a consultation. We do not replicate other cake decorators work, as every artist has their own unique style.
Q: HOW MUCH DO WEDDING CAKES COST?
A: As every wedding cake is custom, the pricing varies on multiple factors including size, flavour, design, delivery etc. Accurate quotes are provided during consultation or through detailed email discussions. If you have a specific budget in mind, we will try our best to accommodate.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
A: We understand that sometimes plan can change and we will do our absolute best to assist you in making changes to your order date when possible. However, with cancellations, Mann & Co Bakeshop reserves the right to retain the non-refundable deposit.
Q: DO YOU OFFER EGGLESS, GLUTEN FREE, OR NUT FREE ITEMS?
A: Yes, we do offer eggless, gluten free, or nut free items, but it is important to know that there is a chance for cross contamination as were are not a certified gluten free and allergen free bakery.
